Overview
The student is expected to observe and record changes in the appearance of objects in the sky such as clouds, the Moon, and stars, including the Sun.

Clouds
Students learn about the composition and types of clouds and the role they play in weather by observing and recording changes in the appearance of clouds.

Moon Phases
By observing and recording changes in the appearance of the moon students develop an understanding of the patterns that occur.

Sun/Stars
Students observe and record changes in the Sun’s appearance from day to day and learn about the Sun and other stars.
