Why do I need a school or registration code to access Super STAAR?
Super STAAR is licensed to schools or districts for use by teachers. If you wish to subscribe to Super STAAR, call the Center for Educational Outreach at Baylor College of Medicine (713-7098-8200 or 800-798-8244). Alternately, please use the “Contact Us” form, found in the top header of this website.

What software is required to use this site?
For the best experience on Super STAAR, we recommend the latest version of the following web browsers; Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Apple Safari and Microsoft Internet Explorer. This site is designed to work with at least Internet Explorer 6.0 or FireFox 2 Earlier versions may not support all functions of the site.

How do I watch streaming videos on Super STAAR?
Most streaming video presentations on this site are in Adobe Flash Player format. You may download free Flash Player software here. (http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/)

Why does some content open in another window?
Many of the resources on Super STAAR have been developed and pilot tested by the Center for Educational Outreach at Baylor College of Medicine. However, we also recommend and link to high quality content on other sites to address the broad spectrum of content areas in elementary science. Selected lessons, background sections and teaching resources from external sites open in separate browser windows. If you have difficulty viewing or downloading materials from an external site, please check the user requirements for that site directly.
